10:17 a.m. — While packing, I stumble upon an ancient antiquity cached deep in the bedroom closet: my pink and dark-green Caboodle makeup organizer, ooh!
Dorsum in the early '90s, Caboodles were a staple of teenage makeup life. This one housed all of my first makeup treasures (similar Clinique Raspberry Slippery lipstick… and so old school!) and kept them safe and secure.
Over fourth dimension, its role changed from Protector of Makeup to Defender of Costume Jewelry and Random Keepsakes.
I haven't opened information technology in ages… My center quickens! I grit off the summit and brace myself before opening the lid.

Get-go, evidence that my evolution into a CCL (crazy true cat lady) began at an early age.
Then, my vision wavers when I see this dress clip thing-a-ma-bobber, and it's suddenly 1993 over again. I'thou at school, and girls are wearing them clipped to the backs of loose, floral-impress dresses all around me.
I return to the nowadays and find a modest manila envelope… I'thou intrigued. What'due south inside?

Sifting through my Caboodle's long-forgotten $.25 and bobs, I smiling, lost amidst memories. Information technology's the offset fourth dimension in many days I've felt nowadays and "in the moment." No stressing over work, packing, bills that have to be paid — nothing.
two:30 p.thousand. — I'm petting Tabs with my foot. I glance at my toes and note how massively 'TOW Up my pedicure looks.
It's downwardly to polish remnants, and it'southward not a pretty sight.
I don't take much time to spare (must. proceed. packing.), so I accomplish for a canteen of Rimmel 60 Seconds Smash Polish ($three), aka drugstore nail smoothen savior of time-strapped women everywhere.

Finally, my feet are cute over again; order has been restored.
11:49 p.m. I'm tucked below the covers in bed and starting to drift to slumber. El Hub is quietly explaining how The Final Four college basketball playoffs piece of work…
Non a big sports fan growing up, I ever wanted to know. Nowadays, I kinda enjoy watching large football game and basketball games.
When we lookout man games together, El Hub patiently explains the goings on, describing the objectives, defining the rules and the athleticism involved in ways that are interesting and easy to sympathize. FUN!
It's been a long day of work and moving. My eyes grow heavy. Tabs climbs up on the bed and curls up abreast me.
Information technology's late and repose outside. El Hub is still whispering. I hear something almost the "Sweet 16." I feel relaxed, happy, content.
Sugariness dreams… 🙂
